I’m passionate about giving back to my community, which is why I started a local passion project to collect and donate gently used shoes to those in need. After realizing that many families don’t have access to proper footwear, I organized donation drives at my school and church, encouraging my peers to get involved. Through these efforts, I’ve helped provide hundreds of pairs of shoes to people in need during my travels. This project reflects my commitment to service, leadership, and compassion—making a meaningful impact, one step at a time.

I got started on my mission to donate shoes after a life-changing trip to Cuba in 4th grade. My family and I left behind a suitcase full of clothes, shoes, and braided hair for families in need, and seeing how grateful they were for these everyday essentials deeply moved me. That moment sparked something in me—a desire to do more. Inspired by that experience, I launched a shoe donation initiative back home, determined to make a lasting difference for those without access to basic items.
