My Recent Travels
Higüey, Dominican Republic
Over the 2024–2025 Christmas break, my family and I vacationed in the Dominican Republic. During our trip, we left the tourist hotel beaches and drove an hour inland to the city center of Higüey. There, we encountered young children in need and were moved to donate our shoes, offering a small gesture of support to a community facing hardship.
